Smoothies for the Soul (and Stomach)

I just made the most delicious smoothie. Every drink is like summer. What I’m trying to say is I just made summer into a smoothie. (That makes sense. Maybe I should go back to bed..). It is a perfect balance of flavors and every drink makes me want to lay on the beach getting a perfect tan sunburn. It’s like suntan lotion, freshly mowed grass, and warm sandy beaches all wrapped into one. And now you’re probably grossed out. Enough of me trying to describe it’s goodness. Just go make it people! It will make your monday morning much better. While you drink it you can make your summer to-do/bucket list because it will be here before we know it!

Summer SuperScrum Smoothie or Pineapple Mango Smoothie (if you want to be boring)

1 cup frozen pineapple

1 cup frozen mango

1 sliced frozen banana

1 cup of Coconut Greek yogurt

1 cup almond milk (or any milk)

Put all the delicious goodness into a blender and blend until smooth. Then drink yourself into delicious summer oblivion.

Side note:

  • I always keep a sliced frozen banana in the fridge for smoothies and it makes for a much creamier, thick smoothie. DO IT.
  • The yogurt I used was Yoplait greek yogurt but you can definitely use any kind or flavor. They do make mango pineapple greek yogurt that would also taste amazing in it.
  • You could add spinach (don’t give me that look) for lots of vitamins and good stuff. I pinkie promise you can’t taste it.
